ankh cross
An Egyptian symbol of life, in the form of a TAU CROSS with a loop resting on the transverse arm.
It combines the male and female symbols of Osiris and Isis and is found held in the hand of certain deities depicted on some TUTANKHAMUN jewelry and other objects from Egypt.
Also known as the “Key of Life” and the crux ansata.
